About a belle
I am a Business Intelligence Architect, trainer/instructor, consultant and author. I mostly work with SQL Server technologies. I also script and automate with PowerShell, and visualize with Tableau and Power BI.
I work with data, and love working with data.
I’ve worn many hats over the years and worked with many tools and technologies, but I’ve always loved working with SQL Server. I think SQL Server is a lot of fun. Lately I have also been having lots of fun delivering insights and dashboards using Tableau.
I am a Microsoft SQL Server MVP and a Microsft Certified Trainer (MCT). I hold MCITP DBA and Developer for SQL Server, and MCTS for SharePoint.
I am also Tableau Desktop 7, 8 & 9 Certified, and an accredited Tableau Trainer.

About this blog
This blog contains some of the things I learn about SQL Server, Power BI, Tableau etc. I blog about stuff I learn, stuff I stumble on, some of the gotchas that got me, and some of the gotchas I escaped from thanks to other people’s blogs, articles and what nots.
This blog represents my own journey, and my own discoveries as I work with data and tools for data. Everyday, I learn a new thing or two… from my experiences, from colleagues, students, and other books and blogs. I am using this blog as a medium to retain a little fraction of this learning, and to share it in case it’s useful to someone else.

Hi,
I work for ansrsource, the preferred editorial services partner of the world’s leading academic publishers. We work with top publishers and universities creating content and learning solutions to fit their needs. We are currently working on a project for a University creating learning activity prompts and activities that utilize the software, Tableau. For this project we are looking for a Subject Matter Expert in Tableau. The subject matter expert would create real world scenarios, and tasks for learners.
Would you be interested in such work? If not do you have a colleague or know of advance students in the field who might be interested in working on this project.
Thank you,
Anne
